Naturally Distinctive

CHOLSEY

Project type: Naturalistic planting, Welsh slate and a ‘Pod’

Two distinct seating areas take full advantage of the site’s standout feature, expansive views across South Oxfordshire and the Chilterns.

Naturalistic planting is used to reflect the countryside setting, including Stipa grasses to blend with the adjacent crop planting.

A Welsh slate dry stone wall forms a water cascade to add movement and interest; while in the opposite corner a hanging ‘Pod’ tent is a fun play area for the client’s young daughter.

Dark limestone paving and grey setts are used throughout to create a cohesive and harmonious space.
